As usual, we are having a much needed summer break in July and August to relax and enjoy our own gardens. We’ll be back on Thursday 10th September with Jacqueline Iddon who will be talking to us about her life in plants.
Jacqueline has spoken for us on a number of occasions and has always been very popular. Her garden, based in Bretherton, is truly spectacular.
On Thursday 8th October, we have The Coppice Coop who will be talking to us about their work in Slackhead. They are a woodcraft business who specialise in woodland management and heritage crafts. They make and supply woven fence panels, gates, peas sticks and more.
We’ll be having an our annual AGM with seasonal craft on Thursday 12th November at 7:30pm.
Warton is having its first ever Pollinator Trail this coming Saturday. Almost 30 gardens will be open across the village for you to visit and be inspired by pollinator friendly planting. Committee members Alison and Emma will be opening their own gardens so do please come along and support. It runs from 10am-4pm Saturday 11th July. Visit the hub at the school for more information and a map.
Hope to see you there!
